Questions about scaling a recipe's nutrition
Does scaling a recipe change the nutrition per serving?
Not if you scale everything evenly and keep the serving size the same. Doubling the pan doubles the totals and doubles the servings, so one serving is unchanged. The per-serving figure only moves if the ingredient proportions do.
What does this tool actually give me then?
The scaled weight of every ingredient, the totals for the bigger or smaller batch, and confirmation of the per-serving figure at both serving counts, which is what batch cooking and freezer portions need.
Can I use this for freezer portions?
